Story Development

This page is all about story development! Two storyboarded animatics, and a frog town I painted in oils.

Storyboards & animatics

  1. Team Below the Surface

A young girl uncovers the past of her dying city and tries to find a way to save it. I also drew the story as a two-page comic.

  2. Midlife Magic - Senior Thesis Film Development

I drew hundreds of storyboards for our senior film. A middle-aged man falls into a magical-girl world and has to face his inner demons!

  3. GoomVille, Explored

I wanted this frog town of mushroom houses to feel hand-painted, so I painted it by hand. I unwrapped each object, traced out the pattern and painted its texture in oils, then put the textures back in the scene with their normal maps.
